Building Your Future CAREER CONNECT Job Interviews. MHS seniors were at the Ouachita Center on the campus of UA Rich Mountain Wednesday to participate in a reverse career fair. Seniors will set up stations, and potential employers visited with them.

Ray Willard with Frito Lay commissioned our art department to create a large artwork for the upcoming eclipse, welcoming tourists to Mena. It is currently hanging in Walmart.

HHE started their tennis unit today. We saw lots of future tennis pros.

Mena Middle School 8th grade students ventured over to U of A Rich Mountain today to participate in the annual Ready Set Go to High School, College and Career Day. The college staff shared information on concurrent credit, financial aid, the career center and more. Students were also entertained with a campus tour a Plinko game for prizes. Thank you U of A Rich Mountain for hosting!

The Mena Regional Auxiliary recently awarded $1,000.00 scholarships to four students who are pursuing a career in the field of medicine. Mena High School senior, Caroline Cannon as well as two of our alumni, Avery Bowling and Andi Maechler were recipients. Congratulations!

Congratulations to the Mena Middle School Band on their outstanding performance at the Concert Assessment and Sight reading competition! The band received an overall excellent rating for their concert and a superior rating for their sight reading performance. The students were congratulated by Principal Todd Coogan on Thursday morning for their work and a big thank you from the band booster moms for the cake and chocolate milk!

Our 2nd cohort group has completed their time at the Arkansas Leadership Academy ! WE are so proud of these hard working teachers and are so excited about things to come!
