Senior Pictures Days for the Mena High School Class of 2022 Seniors will be held at the MHS Safe Room on July 6-7. Each senior should be receiving a postcard in the mail from the Prestige Photography group, which includes their scheduled picture session date and time, as well as instructions on how to be best prepared for their variety of senior portraits that will be taken that day.
Parents and students need to confirm their picture session appointment online as soon as possible after receiving their appointment postcard. There will also be a $10 sitting fee for the picture day, which is due at the time of checking in for the picture session, payable with cash or check.
Each student will get a variety of photos taken with poses in Cap & Gown, Formal, and Casuals/Personality. Even if students/parents don’t intend on purchasing senior pictures through Prestige Photography, the MHS Yearbook staff still needs each student to get their Cap & Gown and Formal pictures taken for a variety of yearbook and senior year items at the school.
For more information on the Class of 2022 Senior Pictures Days, please contact Mr. Andy Philpot, MHS Yearbook Adviser, at andy.philpot@menaschools.org

According to the Arkansas Activities Association Hand Book the Athletic Dead Weeks will be June 27th-July 10th, 2021.
All AAA member schools will observe an annual mandatory two week athletic dead period running the week prior to July 4th and the week of July 4th. During this time coaches (licensed teacher coaches and registered volunteers) shall be prohibited from
engaging in any type of activity involving student athletes whether it be practice, training, weight lifting, competition, or travel. Further, school athletic facilities will be closed to student athletes
during this period. Schools that have the only baseball and softball fields in the community may allow the community to use the school fields during the dead period as long as no school teams are playing and no school coaches are coaching the teams.
