FBLA State competitors: The objective tests will be administered in Rm 401 on Tuesday and Wednesday beginning during Enrichment. Please complete the form that was emailed to you to choose your day to test.

The National Honor Society (NHS) elevates commitment to the values of scholarship, service, leadership, and character. These four pillars have been associated with membership in the organization since its inception in 1921.


The Mena Ladycats open play in the Class 4A State Basketball Tournament in Morrilton on Friday. They will play the winner of the Southside/Farmington game at 4pm.

Austin Rose and Jarrett Burger placed 6th at the Arkansas Student Angler Federation State Championship held on Lake DeGray on Sunday 3/7/21.
They will be back in action this coming weekend on Lake Degray and Lake Greeson. With the lead in the Arkansas Youth Fishing Federation points standings, Rose and Burger are hoping to finish strong and qualify for the High School National Championship.


Attention Mena High School and Middle School FFA Members: This week we will be competing in the Cream of the Crop virtual judging contest. This is for CDE teams only! You will compete during your normal practice time this week. If you are unable to compete during the normal practice time or can not make it to practice please let Mr. Maye, Goodnight, or McCormick know! That way we can figure out a time for you to compete this week. You will need to make sure and bring your Chromebook with you to practice!


The Mena Ladycats lost the Regional Championship Game on Saturday to Star City by a score of 65-34. Mena will enter the 4A State Tournament next week in Morrilton as a #2 seed. they will play on Friday March 12th at 4:00pm. Click the link to view the bracket.

The Bearcats completed the Mena Baseball Tournament on Saturday with a 12-2 win over Mansfield at Union Bank Park. Mena had 14 hits as a team including 4 hits & 6 RBI's from Austin Rose.
Riley Gilbert pitched 5 innings & had 6 strike outs.
The Bearcats improve to 2-2 & will host Hope on Tuesday beginning at 5:00pm. GO BEARCATS!

The Mena Softball Team won their first game of the season at the Ashdown Tournament on Saturday. A convincing 10-0 victory over Foreman. The Ladycats return to play on Tuesday against Hope at Union Bank Park in Mena. GO LADYCATS!


Mena Softball lost their season opener 12-0 at the hands of Booneville in the Ashdown Tournament Friday Afternoon.
The Ladycats fell to Bradley 14-10 in round two on Friday night & will play again on Saturday morning at 11:00am.

The Mena Bearcats shut out Mt. Ida 1-0 behind five strong innings by Blake Brown on the mound. Sam Efird led the team at the plate with three hits. Mena will play Mansfield on Saturday at 1;00pm at UBP. GO BEARCATS!!

Jessica Kropp's 7th period theatre class presented Shakespeare themed skits for the 9th grade English classes at Mena High School on Friday 3/5/21.


The Mena Ladycats have advanced to the 4A South Regional Tournament Championship Game by defeating Watson Chapel on Friday morning by a score of 40-38. Mena will play the winner of the Star City/Nashville game on Saturday at 4:00pm in Star City. GO LADYCATS!
