Mrs. Lauren Frost and her Project Lead the Way, Design and Modeling students represented Mena Middle School at the AR statewide STEM Advisory Partners meeting on Thursday. The group made a presentation on the design and modeling course, spoke about their community partnership with Brodix, and lead an interactive session with the projects they have created this year in the course. The students also had the opportunity to have hands on experiences during the breakout sessions, got a tour of the campus from the administrators and met industry and school innovators in STEM and CTE education. The event took place in Benton at the Saline County Career and Technical Campus.
