Mena Middle School

Arkansas Teacher of the Year, Beau McCastlain, visited Mena Schools on Thursday. Mr. McCastlain, who teaches Television Production at DeQueen Schools, is currently a non-voting advisory member of the state board of education this year as part of his Teacher of the Year duties. His visit aimed to learn more about the outstanding programs at Mena Public Schools. He plans to visit additional schools throughout the state, particularly in Southwest Arkansas, to share his findings with the board.
