
MMS Announcements for Monday, May 20th
6th grade ETS students will be meeting in the Choir room today after these announcements.
From Mrs. Rose: Any 8th grader that plans to apply for Upward Bound, please get your applications turned in to her ASAP.
The MMS Academic Awards Assembly will be this Thursday morning, 9:00 am, in the PAC. If you are receiving an award, your parents should have received a letter in the mail. Also, we will have sign-out sheets available at the PAC for anyone who plans to check out right after the assembly.
In the next couple of days, each of you will be given a chance to clean out your locker. Be sure and take everything home. Also, this will be your last chance to claim items from the Lost-and-Found box.

Admission is $5: All proceeds go to the Bass Cats Club.

Mena Middle School FCCLA/Leadership, FBLA, and EAST students participated in the Education in Motion Day at Magic Springs theme and water park.

MMS 8th Graders are preparing for their first year at Mena High School today... They participated in a scavenger hunt that took them all over the high school building.. A fun and creative way for them to become familiar with their surroundings before the next school year.





MMS Announcements for Wednesday, May 15th
Any student that will not be here through the end of next week, needs to visit with either Mr. Sherrer or myself for authorization.
Students who have paid to attend the Magic Springs trip will meet tomorrow in Mrs. Smith's room after the announcements.
The Talent Show is tomorrow afternoon beginning at 1:30. Admission is $2. You can turn your money in to your 1st period teacher.

Today will be the annual free physicals in the Union Bank Center. Ladycats will be at 5:30pm and Bearcats will follow. This is the only opportunity for free physicals.


The Mena Middle School 6th Grade Students took a field trip today... They were exposed to a number of career options during their stop at Holly Springs Homestead & Queen Wilhelmina State Park...





7th Grade CAP Conferences will be today from Noon until 6pm at Mena Middle School... If you missed your scheduled time on Friday please come today at your convenience..
