MHS Announcements May 6th, 2019 Seniors sign-up in the office for your final transcript to be sent. FFA Officer application deadline is May 9 Thursday. Also, there will be a FFA officer candidate meeting on May 9 Thursday during enrichment. All FFA members who turned in an officer application are required to attend this meeting. Seniors if you are taking on-line classes at RMCC please return your book to Mrs. Thacker before May 10. Teachers and students you have to have money in your account to eat. No more negative accounts allowed. For any student that would like to volunteer to help serve meals at the Relay for Life Survivors Dinner on Friday, May 17, please see Mr. Philpot today. This will be an opportunity to earn service hours, in addition to contributing to the 2019 Polk County Relay for Life. If you are a senior interested in delivering the speech at graduation, please come by Ms. Kropp’s room for info. The typed manuscript is due today. We will have the annual free physicals on Tuesday, May 14. All coaches will hand out the physical forms. Ladycats will be at 5:30 PM in the UBC and Bearcats will follow. This is the only opportunity to provide free physicals. Seniors, several students have not accepted their Arkansas Challenge scholarships. Check and see if you are pending acceptance. The trip is scheduled for Tuesday. 8th grade ETS students will be meeting in the Choir room after these announcements. There are still 15 yearbooks available for purchase. If you would like to purchase one, you can see Mrs. Lunsford after these announcements. Since we did not meet in ACHIEVE this week, all students will be allowed to participate in Flex Friday activities today, unless you are one of the students that needs to see Mrs. Chaney. I will read that list at the end of these announcements. From Mrs. Rose: 7th graders, remember that your fishing derby is Monday, weather permitting. Your group fishing times are posted on the Library windows. You can only use your own fishing pole if you are a car rider or a parent meets you at the pond. You will not be allowed on a bus with a fishing pole. Same thing if you want to keep the fish you catch…a parent or guardian must take the fish home from the pond. Students in Lunch “A”: If you choose to go through the Concession line today, you will need to get your tray, then walk over to the computer by the salad bar, to enter your number.
